📋 Description
• Manage and control the strategic implementation of shipboard HR processes • Handle employee relations issues • Develop, evaluate and modify HR processes, policies and procedures • Ensure compliance with Time and Attendance Procedures • Participate in investigations related to employee performance • Facilitate crew scheduling requests • Assist in the employee resignation process, including exit interviews • Proactively monitor employee work areas • Lead a multi-cultural team • Ensure confidentiality and discretion of all employee information • Establish a career progression process
🎯 Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Human Resource Manager or similar position • Diploma in Human Resources Management • Ship experience on the same position is mandatory • Strong administration skills preferred • Proficient with PC-based databases, spreadsheets, and word processing systems • Must be a minimum age of twenty-one (21) years old • Physically fit and in good health • Must be able to carry heavy items and stand, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods • Fluent in English with excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to speak an additional language is an advantage • Ability to work independently with a positive, approachable personality • Professional appearance • No visible tattoos
