📋 Description

• Provide market cost guidance on key architectural components during the RFQ process • Identify competitive functional alternatives during architectural definition stages • Match Jabil and customer road maps to supplier road maps • Facilitate communication and exchange of ideas within the supply chain team • Analyze market segment needs and develop supply chain strategies • Assess supply chain weaknesses and establish action plans • Identify strategic design partners and foster relationships • Develop and use cost analysis tools • Provide market-based intelligence • Lead negotiations for core system blocks • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, inventory, delivery, lead times, cancellation terms, return privileges, and EDI/SIS demand communication • Collaborate with Supply Chain Project Managers on assigned programs • Assist with RFQs and obtain commodity and sourcing control of BOM and AVL • Execute Jabil’s Early Supplier Involvement program • Serve as Jabil’s supply chain expert for the assigned market segment • Develop new design opportunities with customers • Resolve program and customer service issues quickly and effectively • Represent Jabil’s materials team in meetings, audits, presentations, and conference calls • Follow applicable safety, security, and ethics procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required in Electrical Engineering or technical discipline • Prefer 6 to 8 years supply chain related experience at an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) in the appropriate market segment • Experience with design and product launch • Domestic and international travel is required (up to 50%) • Adherence to safety and health rules and regulations • Compliance with company security and ethics policies
