📋 Description

• Lead and manage a team of Product Managers, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and career development • Own the product strategy and roadmap for a defined product area, with accountability for team and individual outcomes • Set standards for idea validation, including rapid prototyping using Replit, Lovable, Claude Code, or similar tools • Translate ambiguous business problems into clear priorities and sequencing, making final trade-off decisions • Ensure rigorous user research through interviews, usability testing, and structured feedback loops • Define the product-area metrics framework and drive experimentation and data-driven decisions • Partner with engineering, design, and leadership on priorities and resourcing • Build a high-ownership, high-velocity team culture, including adoption of AI-assisted tools • Represent the product area in leadership and planning discussions, roadmap reviews, and organization-level trade-offs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree • 6-9+ years of Product Management experience, including at least 2 years directly managing a team of PMs • Experience in EdTech, SaaS, HealthTech, marketplaces, or consumer technology companies • Demonstrated experience hiring, developing, and managing performance for Product Managers • Track record of owning a product area or line with clear business outcomes at individual and team levels • Hands-on experience creating prototypes and validating ideas using AI-assisted or no-code tools • Strong analytical and data-driven approach, with fluency in SQL, experimentation design, and product analytics • Technical fluency across software systems, APIs, backend architecture, or microservices • Working familiarity with AI coding tools • Excellent stakeholder management and senior leadership alignment experience • Comfort operating in ambiguity and balancing team unblocking with hands-on work
