📋 Description

• Review B2B SaaS sales contracts for compliance with ASC 606 or relevant revenue recognition standards • Review and execute sales orders, billing transactions, and revenue schedules • Apply revenue recognition policies to complex contracts and issues • Identify and implement controls, reconciliations, and tie-outs within the quote-to-cash process • Complete revenue-related close tasks and prepare accurate management reports • Prepare monthly revenue and reclassification journal entries • Conduct monthly revenue flux analysis and miscellaneous revenue adjustments • Maintain organized, audit-ready transaction support documentation • Coordinate audit documentation and participate in audit walkthroughs • Assist with SOX compliance for revenue-related controls • Use Salesforce and NetSuite to extract data, create reports, and perform saved searches • Understand and trace NetSuite Advanced Revenue Module transactions through the general ledger • Troubleshoot system-related revenue accounting issues • Collaborate with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, Legal, and other departments • Communicate revenue accounting requirements and cross-functional impacts to non-financial stakeholders • Work with sales teams to structure scalable contracts supporting proper revenue recognition • Identify and implement automation and AI-enabled process improvements • Maintain current revenue accounting policies and procedures • Analyze revenue trends and variances • Maintain reconciliations for accurate revenue accounting and ARR reporting • Research and document changes to revenue recognition policies • Participate in relevant professional development activities

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred qualification) • CPA or similar certification (preferred) • 3–5 years of revenue recognition exposure in a SaaS company, preferably B2B, or 2–4 years of Big 4 public accounting experience with SaaS engagements • Solid understanding of US GAAP, particularly ASC 606 • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables • Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce CPQ is a plus • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills from accounting and system perspectives • Self-motivated ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment • Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to help as needed • Flexibility to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-growing company • Must be located in and authorized to work in India • Fluent spoken and written English
