📋 Description

• Further develop and gradually expand data protection and compliance management • Take responsibility for implementing and continuously improving processes, standards, and policies related to data protection and compliance • Advise senior management and business functions on legal, regulatory, and organizational matters • Identify, assess, and monitor risks in the areas of data protection and compliance • Manage key data protection processes, including records of processing activities, data protection impact assessments, data processing agreements, data breaches, and data subject rights • Support audits, certifications, and control measures, as well as the implementation of resulting requirements • Promote awareness of data protection and compliance through training, communication, and practical advice • Build a network of relevant internal and external stakeholders • Regularly report to senior management on the status of relevant data protection and compliance matters

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in law, business law, or a comparable qualification with a legal focus • Several years of professional experience in data protection, compliance management, or comparable governance functions • In-depth knowledge of the GDPR, the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), and other relevant legal frameworks • Experience building, developing, or establishing data protection and compliance structures is an advantage • Practical experience with audits, certifications, or management systems, such as ISO 27001 or comparable standards • Ability to communicate legal and regulatory requirements clearly, practically, and with a solution-oriented approach • Structured, independent, and responsible way of working • High level of integrity, discretion, and sense of responsibility • Excellent communication and advisory skills • Confident presence when working with business functions, managers, and senior management • Pragmatic approach and ability to reconcile regulatory requirements with the practical needs of day-to-day operations
