📋 Description

• Act on strategic regulatory matters related to the natural gas market and other regulated segments in which the company operates; • Conduct regulatory risk analyses, proposing preventive strategies to mitigate impacts to the business; • Support the definition and execution of strategies for participation in public consultations, regulatory reviews and discussions with regulatory agencies; • Draft legal opinions and analyses, and develop legal positions on highly complex regulatory issues with significant impact for the company; • Advise strategic projects and new businesses, providing multidisciplinary legal counsel and supporting the structuring of significant transactions; • Support the mapping and development of legal opportunities related to Tax Reform, as well as monitor critical tax issues with cross-cutting impact for the group’s companies; • Act as a point of integration between subsidiaries and internal areas, ensuring legal alignment on regulatory, tax and strategic matters; • Draft guidelines, policies and legal guidance to standardize cross-cutting issues across the group’s companies; • Provide advisory legal support on regulatory, tax, civil and labor matters, according to business area demand; • Maintain ongoing interfaces with external law firms and various internal stakeholders to conduct projects and strategic matters.

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB); • Proven experience in Regulatory Law, preferably in regulated sectors such as energy, infrastructure, water and sanitation, oil & gas or utilities; • Experience liaising with regulatory agencies, participating in public consultations and monitoring regulatory processes; • Experience handling strategic, high-complexity matters, working autonomously with a strong business perspective; • Knowledge of Tax Law, especially matters related to Tax Reform, will be considered an advantage; • Experience in the natural gas sector and/or in companies within the energy, utilities or infrastructure segments will be considered an advantage; • Knowledge of regulation in regulated markets, development of legal positions and structuring of strategic projects; • Analytical profile, with excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to influence.
