📋 Description

• Responsible for the overall clinical, technical and administrative functions at the location regarding the PAP Therapy program • Responsible for installation/setup of respiratory therapy equipment (CPAP, AutoPAP, BiPAP) and provision of supplies • Ongoing assessment of patients and equipment • Schedule setups and explain clinical benefits of PAP therapy • Maintain records, charting and documentation • Ensure updated demographic information • Oversee regulatory rules for respiratory therapist staff • Train and orient new respiratory staff • Effective written and verbal communication skills • Work with office staff on billing and documentation • Promote home respiratory therapist services • Ensure safe operation of all equipment • Availability for patient contact and response to needs

🎯 Requirements

• Responsible for overall clinical, technical and administrative functions regarding the PAP Therapy program • Responsible for installation/setup of respiratory therapy equipment (CPAP, AutoPAP, BiPAP) • Provision of supplies and ongoing assessment of patients and equipment • Schedule setups of equipment and explain clinical benefits of PAP therapy • Clinical contact with physician and health care practitioners • Maintenance of records, charting and documentation • Ensure demographic information is updated regularly • Oversee regulatory rules pertinent to respiratory therapist staff • Orientation and training of new respiratory therapist staff • Effective communication skills • Adhere to cost-containment policies and procedures • Work with office staff for billing and documentation of services • Promote home respiratory therapist services • Ensure proper safe operation of all equipment prior to installation • Provide availability for patient contact and needs response • Collaborate with team members (other RTs, PCCs and various departments)
