📋 Description

• Lead the Nav SDK team in advancing the maps and navigation ecosystem at Mapbox. • Mentor and develop talent, supporting and inspiring engineers. • Promote collaboration and innovation within the team. • Drive strategic objectives and ensure alignment with company goals. • Define product roadmaps by partnering with product and engineering teams. • Shape the vision and contribute to business and product planning.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of engineering management experience • Proven track record of leading technical teams • Experience managing cross-functional teams of 5+ people • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in mobile software development (iOS or Android) • Experience developing Mobile SDKs • Strong understanding of SDK architecture, API design, design patterns, and best practices • Knowledge of Maps and Location Technologies, such as GIS systems is nice to have. • A track record of hiring and growing top technical talent. • Commitment to monitoring, metrics, and continuous improvement processes. • Confidence in leading vision, strategy, and execution for high-impact projects. • Passion for solving customer problems and delivering delightful experiences. • Professional fluency in English (C1 level minimum) is required.
