• Lead the Nav SDK team in advancing the maps and navigation ecosystem at Mapbox. • Mentor and develop talent, supporting and inspiring engineers. • Promote collaboration and innovation, building an inclusive environment. • Drive strategic objectives, aligning team’s work with company goals. • Define product roadmaps in partnership with Product and Engineering teams. • Shape the vision by contributing to business and product planning.
• 3+ years of engineering management experience • Proven track record of leading technical teams • Experience managing cross-functional teams of 5+ people • Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in mobile software development (iOS or Android) • Strong understanding of SDK architecture, API design, design patterns, and best practices for building and maintaining reusable developer platforms • Knowledge of Maps and Location Technologies, such as GIS systems is nice to have. • Professional fluency in English (C1 level minimum) is required for daily stakeholder communication.
