📋 Description

• Lead the Talent Development function & team to develop and execute Marqeta’s learning and talent development strategy. • Drive a cohesive, forward-thinking approach to talent management that is aligned to business objectives. • Utilize business data, engagement surveys, employee feedback, and industry best practices to establish Marqeta’s learning roadmap. • Oversee a performance management process and goal-setting framework that drives individual and organizational performance. • Stay ahead of talent management and learning trends, adopting best practices for learning in the flow of work. • Design and deliver holistic leadership development initiatives that develop first-time and seasoned leaders. • Regularly evaluate vendor capabilities to ensure alignment with Marqeta’s learning strategy. • Utilize your deep expertise and adaptive leadership style to guide your team toward operational excellence, flexibility, and collaboration.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in Talent Planning and Learning & Development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. • Proven ability to design and execute talent strategies (e.g., performance reviews, talent reviews, succession planning) and learning programs aligned with organizational goals. • Skilled in simplifying complex topics and concepts into easy-to-understand, actionable content. • Ability to drive high-impact strategic initiatives while being ready to roll up your sleeves to ensure execution excellence. • Strong ability to build and maintain partnerships across all levels of the organization, including executives and cross-functional teams.
