📋 Description

• Assist in financial analysis, credit risk assessment, risk rating and structuring of facilities for assigned corporate relationships • Work with Relationship Managers/Senior Relationship Managers and meet customers • Prepare Credit Proposals, including new proposals, annual renewals and amendments • Liaise with Credit Risk Management and Compliance Unit to resolve risk and compliance queries • Review deals, facility structures, credit products and services with CIBG Relationship Teams/WRM • Provide business solutions within credit and operational risk guidelines and policies • Deliver quick and timely turnaround of Credit Proposals while maintaining analysis quality • Ensure proposal terms align with client expectations and monitor exposures, RAROC and overall profitability • Follow up with the Credit Control Unit on monitoring mechanisms required by Lending Guidelines and Credit Policy • Review Early Alert instances and promptly escalate them to the Direct Supervisor • Act as Relationship Manager during the RM’s absence and provide guidance to the team • Understand and abide by the regulatory and legal framework, banking conventions, agreements and practices • Follow Mashreqbank policies, guidelines and manuals, including risk, operational and Anti-Money Laundering policies • Monitor and report portfolio quality, size and mix and ensure adherence to risk/return guidelines • Monitor, report and recommend actions when relationship or deal risk profiles change • Comment on client account conduct and behavior • Provide financial solutions to customer requirements • Work with internal stakeholders including CRM, IBG, TCM and OPS, and external CIBG customers

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 7-9 years of experience of credit / financial analysis at similar level in banking and / or related field • Degree in business / economics • Local market knowledge and sufficient knowledge of the bank’s products and operating systems • Excellent command over verbal and written English • Arabic language skill will be an added advantage • Conversant with banking laws and local regulations • Good inter-personal skills • Should be a team player and participation experience in variety of banking initiatives and solutions
