📋 Description

• Support the selection, configuration, and rollout of the new ETRM system • Ensure that all front-to-back trading processes are mapped in the ETRM system • Take responsibility for the functional administration of the ETRM system • Manage master data, curve configurations, and interfaces • Develop quantitative analysis tools in Python for pricing, load forecasting, and risk assessment • Automate processes • Analyze the German electricity and gas markets across spot and futures trading • Derive strategies for portfolio management • Act as the interface to Sales by translating market developments into tradable products • Support Sales in pricing structured contracts • As part of the Front Office, optimize resource allocation and generate maximum profitability

🎯 Requirements

• Successfully completed degree in business administration, economics, (business) mathematics, computer science, physics, or a comparable qualification • Extensive experience in European energy markets, particularly with a focus on Germany • Knowledge of balancing energy, intraday trading, futures markets, and Guarantees of Origin • Advanced proficiency in Python, particularly Pandas and NumPy • Advanced proficiency in SQL • Ideally, experience implementing or administering common ETRM systems, such as Belvis, Allegro, Endur, Brady, or similar platforms • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex topics clearly to Sales • Ability to remain calm and composed during volatile market conditions • Business-fluent German and English
