📋 Description

• Administration and operation of databases in critical production environments • Monitoring of performance, availability, and capacity • Advanced troubleshooting in highly complex scenarios • Management of backup, recovery, failover, and disaster recovery • Performance optimization and query tuning • Administration of security, users, and permissions • Analysis of logs, sessions, and database behavior • Collaboration with application, middleware, and infrastructure teams • Execution of controlled changes and operational tasks • Documentation of processes, incidents, and solutions (runbooks / knowledge base) • Participation in continuous improvement initiatives • Advanced administration of Oracle Database • Experience in on-premises and/or cloud environments (OCI) • Other responsibilities related to the role

🎯 Requirements

• Solid experience in IT operations or database administration • Experience managing production incidents • Experience with high-transaction-volume platforms • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix, including administration, troubleshooting, log analysis, and process management • Experience with Oracle Database, Redis, and/or MongoDB, depending on the area of responsibility • Knowledge of SQL tuning and query optimization • Knowledge of high availability, clustering, failover, and disaster recovery • Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools, such as Dynatrace, Grafana, and Prometheus • Knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL, especially incident, problem, and change management • Experience in critical, highly available environments • Technical knowledge of Oracle: Data Guard, RAC, RMAN, Exadata, AWR, ADDM, and wait-event analysis • Technical knowledge of Redis: replication, clustering, memory tuning, and troubleshooting in distributed environments • Technical knowledge of MongoDB: clusters, sharding, replica sets, performance, and high availability • Technical knowledge of SQL Server: administration, operations, performance tuning, troubleshooting, availability, and recovery • Knowledge of PostgreSQL, IBM Db2, and Hazelcast • Completed bachelor’s degree • Intermediate Spanish proficiency for conversation
