📋 Description

• Act as subject matter expert for PingFederate, PingID MFA, and Ping Directory • Lead complex application integrations and legacy migrations • Provide technical leadership during major incidents • Execute day-to-day PingFederate, PingID MFA, and Ping Directory technical operations • Design and maintain SAML, OAuth, and OIDC integrations for enterprise SSO • Support application onboarding and maintain SP/IdP connections, adapters, authentication policies, and contract mappings • Manage signing/encryption certificate rotation and trust store updates • Validate user attribute and claim mappings • Troubleshoot critical and high-severity SSO and authentication incidents • Analyze JVM behavior, thread dumps, heap dumps, logs, audit logs, metrics, and performance bottlenecks • Coordinate with Ping Identity on product defects and complex issues • Support high-availability/disaster-recovery environments, clusters, and load balancers • Apply approved configuration changes, upgrades, patching, hotfixes, and emergency patches • Implement authentication policies, selectors, custom adapters, and adapter instances • Design advanced OAuth flows, token exchange, fine-grained scopes, and JWT customization • Drive continuous quality and process improvement and automate regular operations • Mentor junior team members and present security concepts and improvement plans • Support security requirements analysis, compliance findings, access reviews, and audit evidence collection • Troubleshoot production issues, participate in change management and release planning, and perform root-cause analysis • Propose permanent fixes and preventive measures • Create and update knowledge-base articles, architecture diagrams, integration guides, SOPs, and runbooks • Define monitoring and alerting standards • Work with application, network, infrastructure, security, compliance, and vendor teams • Drive vendor SLA/OLA adherence

🎯 Requirements

• 8–12+ years in IAM / Identity & Access Management • Minimum 5 years of knowledge and experience working with and implementing PingFederate, Ping MFA, Ping Directory, and constituent components • Excellent technical thought leadership and hands-on implementation skills with PingFederate and Ping MFA • Knowledge and hands-on experience in Active Directory and/or Azure AD/Microsoft Entra ID preferred • Strong understanding of SSO, MFA, and directory services such as Active Directory and LDAP • Understanding of certificate lifecycle management, SSL/TLS, and certificate handling • Expertise in SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SCIM • Proficiency in scripting/programming such as PowerShell, Java, or C# • Knowledge of cloud IAM, including Azure AD, AWS IAM, or Google Cloud Platform • Experience with waterfall, Agile, DevSecOps, and ITIL practices • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills • Ability to work in fast-paced, changing-priority environments and manage multiple projects • ISC2 certifications such as CISSP or CCSP, Ping Certifications, ITIL 4 Foundations Certification, or other IDAM product certifications are bonus points
