β€’ Manage and execute HR strategies, policies, and programs that support organizational goals. β€’ Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding. β€’ Lead Talent Acquisition efforts, including managing and developing a Recruiter, workforce planning, and hiring strategies. β€’ Partner with leadership to identify talent needs and implement effective recruitment and retention strategies. β€’ Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution. β€’ Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, with a strong focus on California labor laws. β€’ Administer and improve HR systems, processes, and policies to enhance efficiency and employee experience. β€’ Track and analyze HR metrics (KPIs) to inform decision-making and improve outcomes. β€’ Support compensation and benefits administration, ensuring competitive and compliant practices. β€’ Partner cross-functionally with leadership, operations, and finance teams to align HR initiatives with business needs. β€’ Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work culture.

🎯 Requirements

β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. β€’ PHR or SPHR certification preferred. β€’ Minimum 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry. β€’ Demonstrated experience supporting California-based employees and employment law compliance required. β€’ Experience in multi-site, multi-state environments preferred. β€’ Hands-on experience managing talent acquisition functions and recruiting teams. β€’ Strong knowledge of FMLA, CFRA, OSHA regulations, and workers’ compensation.
