• Provide friendly, helpful and professional service to passengers on our RRX lines • Inform passengers about the route and connecting trains via announcements on board and by giving personal information • Conduct ticket inspections and record passengers without a valid ticket; sell tickets using a mobile sales device within the applicable fare and carriage conditions • Maintain safety and order on the train in accordance with applicable house rules • Operate on-board technical service equipment and remedy minor faults • Assist and support passengers with reduced mobility during boarding and alighting • Ensure proper handling and submission of lost property and assist with storage of luggage and bicycles
• Completed training/qualification as a Customer Service Agent (m/f/d) in local passenger transport desirable • Full documentation of qualification as a Safety and Service Specialist (m/f/d) in public transport is an advantage; alternatively willingness to participate in internal training • Ideally certified in the expertise examination according to §34a GewO, current first-aid training, fire protection training and de-escalation training, BuP training • Confident command of the German language, both spoken and written, and basic knowledge of English • Neat appearance and enjoyment of working with people, including in challenging situations • Service-oriented approach, reliability and ability to work in a team • Resilience, assertiveness and a sense of responsibility • Flexibility and willingness to work shifts and alternating duties, including nights, weekends and public holidays • Car and driving license advantageous
