📋 Description

• Execute field-based assurance activities across nbn’s critical infrastructure and third-party technical facilities • Conduct site inspections, audits, and technical assessments • Verify facilities meet workplace health and safety standards, regulatory obligations, and operational requirements • Apply technical expertise across electrical, HVAC, and building management systems to verify infrastructure condition and identify risks • Drive corrective actions through to resolution • Manage and verify WHS cases within nbn systems • Ensure hazards are accurately tracked, triaged, and closed in line with governance requirements • Partner with internal teams and external service providers to support safe, compliant, and fit-for-purpose facilities • Contribute to improving safety outcomes, strengthening compliance, and addressing infrastructure risks affecting service continuity and operational performance • Maintain accurate records and reporting to support governance and oversight • Support assurance and inspection activities across a large geographical region

🎯 Requirements

• Practical and experienced technical professional with a strong background in critical infrastructure, facilities, or data centre environments • Hands-on experience in electrical systems, HVAC, or facilities maintenance • Confidence conducting audits, inspections, and technical assessments in complex operational environments • Solid understanding of workplace health and safety legislation and risk management principles • Ability to identify hazards, assess compliance, and follow issues through to resolution • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accurate records and reporting • Ability to travel when required across a large geographical region • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with field teams, stakeholders, and external partners • Experience with telecommunications infrastructure, building management systems, or control systems highly regarded • Proactive approach to continuous improvement, learning, and safety leadership • Full working rights in Australia
