📋 Description

• Utilizing marketing resources to create/manage a high-volume sales pipeline • Working closely with sales engineers, internal support resources and channel partners to ensure consultative engagement with prospects • Farming the existing customer account with the upsell or cross-sell of new products/solution • Planning and executing on new customer acquisition within territory expertise • Recording customer development activities within a CRM to ensure operational excellence • Communicating effectively with all levels of prospective buyers (including executives) and internally at Akamai

🎯 Requirements

• Have relevant sales experience and experience in new business acquisition • Have experience selling cybersecurity or cloud computing solutions • Have a proven track record in over-achieving quarterly/annual quotas with enterprise level targets • Have high ethics, integrity, and be very self-motivated • Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with customers.
