📋 Description

• Review and process court publications • Schedule deadlines in the case management system • Analyze more complex cases • Prepare reports • Request client obligations and meet deadlines • Draft initial pleadings for payment order proceedings, enforcement actions, and collection claims • Draft defenses, counterclaims, and simple and complex motions • Draft small-claims appeals, appeals, motions for clarification, Special Appeals (REsp), Extraordinary Appeals (RExt), interlocutory appeals, and appeals in the records of Special and Extraordinary Appeals • Handle banking and mass civil litigation matters on both the plaintiff and defendant sides • Handle enforcement actions, defenses in enforcement proceedings, payment order proceedings, collection claims, lease-renewal actions, rent-review actions, other review actions, damages claims, declaratory actions, accounting actions, and injunctive proceedings • Handle cases during the merits phase and the judgment enforcement or liquidation phase • Respond to client questions submitted through the internal system and by email • Handle client requests submitted via spreadsheets • Handle complex cases and urgent measures requested by clients • Enter case information into the firm’s case management system • Analyze whether appeals may be waived • Request compliance with obligations to act and to pay • Request supporting information and documentation

🎯 Requirements

• At least three years of active registration with the São Paulo Bar Association (OAB-SP); registrations in other states will not be considered • Experience working at law firms, preferably in high-volume litigation • Experience drafting defenses and appeals • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and the internet • Organized and focused • Strong writing and oral communication skills • Proficiency in Small Claims Court proceedings • Knowledge of banking litigation and consumer law is a plus • Up-to-date knowledge of the 2015 Brazilian Code of Civil Procedure • Ability to manage a high volume of daily analyses • Commitment and reliability
