📋 Description

• Develop and maintain relationships with distributors and contractors • Promote our products and drive sales growth within an assigned territory • Identify new sales opportunities and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase products

🎯 Requirements

• Distributor and Contractor Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers within the designated territory. • Responsible for achieving sales, profit, and growth goals for all Orbit products with the assigned territory. • Maintain desirable mix and margins at distribution through assigned territory. • Ensure sales are profitable and meet or exceed expectations and requirements as set by management. • Sales Development: Identify new sales opportunities and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals. • Identify, evaluate, and select distributor partners within the assigned territory. • Develop and build direct relationships with Electrical distributors, contractors, MRO, and other users of Orbit’s products. • Product Knowledge: Gain a comprehensive understanding of our electrical products and services to effectively communicate their benefits to customers. • Provide product training for distributors and contractors. • Sales Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our unique labor-saving products and the breadth of the Orbit line to distributors and contractors. • Recommend appropriate solutions to contractors, end-users, and specifiers. • Market Research: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and weekly itineraries and call reports. • Submit expense reports in a timely manner. • Timely follow-up and compliance with all requests from management. • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, inside sales and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment.
