• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses • Implement and maintain an effective asset tracking system to monitor asset locations, usage, and conditions • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to forecast future asset needs based on business requirements and growth projections • Ensure proactive planning and budgeting for asset acquisitions and replacements • Process asset deployment/retrieval via incident and request tickets • Coordinate with vendors for processing of the physical deployment and retrieval of the assets • Follow up, track, and escalate as needed to ensure completeness of the task • Collaborate with IT support teams to facilitate asset maintenance, repairs, and upgrades as needed • Ensure that assets are functioning optimally to support business operations • Manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets from acquisition to disposal • Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and avoid penalties for overuse • Track and analyze the total cost of ownership (TCO) for IT assets
• Intensive knowledge with CMDB / ITSM Platform • Prior experience with FreshService or similar IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms, with a focus on asset management • Knowledge with Microsoft 365 administration, including user management, license provisioning, and application deployment • Basic understanding of Azure Active Directory (AAD) concepts and administration tasks, such as user provisioning, group management, and security policies • Endpoint Management and Reporting with Microsoft Intune • Knowledge in automations, integrations, and workflow changes in ITSM platform • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred • Previous experience in asset management, IT support, or related roles is advantageous • Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation or CompTIA IT Asset Management (ITAM) are a plus
