📋 Description

• Act as the voice of customers in Germany and be responsible for their success with the Pennylane platform • Fully onboard new customers from companies and accounting firms onto the Pennylane platform • Ensure new customers quickly realize maximum value from the solution • Serve as the primary contact for existing customers • Build and maintain trusted customer relationships • Identify upsell opportunities • Ensure customers use Pennylane optimally to achieve their business goals • Conduct regular health checks and reviews • Maximize customer satisfaction and retention and prevent churn • Work closely with the German sales team and management • Optimize processes • Provide feedback on product requirements • Contribute to Pennylane's strategic growth in Germany • Become a product expert for the German finance and accounting landscape and share that knowledge with customers

🎯 Requirements

• 2–5 years of professional experience in accounting, account management, or a similar customer-facing role • Ideally experience in an accounting firm environment or alternatively in SaaS or fintech • Completed vocational training as a tax clerk, tax specialist, or certified tax advisor, or a degree in a finance-related field • Deep understanding of the needs of businesses and/or tax advisors regarding finance, invoicing, and bookkeeping • Strong communication skills and empathy • Ability to explain complex topics clearly and simply • Proactive, solution-oriented hands-on mentality • Willingness to help build processes from scratch in an early-stage team • Willingness to travel for onboarding at the Paris HQ and for regular customer visits in Germany, approximately once a month • Business-level German at C2 or native proficiency • Fluent English • Enthusiasm for a constantly changing work environment • Strong collaboration skills • Sufficient experience to align daily tasks with business priorities
