📋 Description

• Act as the voice of customers in Germany, responsible for their success with the Pennylane platform • Fully onboard new customers—companies and tax advisory firms—onto the Pennylane platform • Ensure customers quickly realize maximum value from the solution • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing customers • Build trusted customer relationships and identify upsell opportunities • Ensure customers use Pennylane optimally to achieve their business goals • Conduct regular health checks and reviews • Maximize customer satisfaction and retention and prevent churn • Work closely with the German sales team and management • Optimize processes and provide feedback on product requirements • Contribute to Pennylane’s strategic growth in Germany • Become a product expert for the German finance and accounting landscape and share that knowledge with customers

🎯 Requirements

• 2–5 years of professional experience in accounting, account management, or a similar customer-facing role • Ideally experience in a tax firm environment, or alternatively in SaaS or fintech • Completed training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellter), tax specialist (Steuerfachwirt) or qualification as a tax advisor (Steuerberater), or a degree in finance • Deep understanding of the needs of companies and/or tax advisors regarding finance, invoicing and bookkeeping • Strong communication skills and empathy • Ability to explain complex topics simply • Proactive, solution-oriented hands-on mentality • Willingness to help shape processes from the ground up • Willingness to travel to the Paris HQ for onboarding and for regular customer visits within Germany, roughly once per month • Business-fluent German (C2 level or native) • Fluent English • Enthusiasm for a constantly changing work environment • Strong collaboration skills and a team-player attitude • Sufficient experience to align daily tasks with business priorities
