📋 Description

• As a Support Specialist — Financial Control and Accounting, you act as both a subject-matter and platform expert. • You are the primary point of contact for our clients who have chosen Pennylane as the central software for their accounting and financial management. • As a member of the Application and Technical Accounting Support team, you serve as the central liaison between our clients’ Executives, their in-house Accountants and external Accounting Firms. • You communicate with users daily and seek to understand the issues they encounter. • After investigation, your goal is to provide an answer or solution to the user, or—when necessary—to escalate the problem to the technical teams. • You are also responsible for helping company and firm accountants import their data into Pennylane to facilitate migration. • You learn to identify all stakeholders and to collaborate effectively within your team and with other departments. • You begin to handle increasingly complex client requests. • You become a product expert and improve your team’s efficiency by identifying areas for improvement. • In the future, you will have opportunities to progress to resolving more advanced issues within Support as well as to other teams such as Account Management or Onboarding/Implementation for our clients.

🎯 Requirements

• Accounting qualification (BTS CGO, DCG, BTS Assistant de Gestion PME-PMI, Master CCA or Bachelor in Administrative and Accounting Management). • At least 3 years’ experience in an accounting firm (ideally having completed at least three fiscal closing periods). • Direct work with company leaders is a plus (e.g., in-house advisory roles). • Interest in innovative work tools and new technologies. • Autonomy and the ability to troubleshoot and find solutions independently. • Familiarity with Pennylane is a plus. • Professional level of English. • Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly and professionally to users. • Ability to understand and respond to client needs, deliver excellent service and maintain strong client relationships. • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team. • Flexibility to adapt to rapid changes in the product. • Willingness to learn and stay up to date on product developments.
