📋 Description

• Oversee and manage power transmission and distribution projects from initiation to completion • Manage and deliver consulting engagements • Develop project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management • Coordinate project activities and ensure adherence to timelines, standards, and regulations • Evaluate technical specifications, design requirements, and feasibility studies • Monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions • Coordinate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, engineers, consultants, and regulatory authorities • Obtain necessary approvals, permits, and licenses • Allocate and optimize manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors • Coordinate procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment • Implement quality control measures and conduct site inspections and audits • Review technical drawings, contracts, progress reports, change orders, invoices, and supplier agreements • Prepare progress reports, cost analyses, and project documentation • Create project close-out reports and conduct lessons-learned sessions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electric Power Systems, or related field • Minimum 10 years of direct industry experience with similar projects • Experience on transmission and distribution projects outside India, or with top 10 consulting companies and utilities in India • Proven experience managing power transmission and distribution projects, preferably in the utility or energy sector • Strong knowledge of power systems, electrical infrastructure, and related equipment • Project management skills including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management • Proficiency in project management software and tools • Ability to guide cross-functional teams and resolve conflicts • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and protocols • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously • Excellent oral and written English language communication skills • Eligibility to secure US and Canadian work permits immediately after joining • Valid passport and all required paperwork before an offer can be extended • Openness to relocation to North America based on business needs
