📋 Description

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Snowflake-based data platforms, data pipelines, and integrations • Monitor platform availability, warehouse utilisation, job execution, pipeline performance, and data quality controls • Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests, and data-related issues across data platform layers • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes • Participate in on-call, escalation, and major incident support processes • Develop, maintain, and support SQL-based transformations, stored logic, pipeline fixes, and minor enhancements • Support releases, changes, deployments, and post-implementation validation • Support and optimise Snowflake databases, schemas, warehouses, tasks, streams, procedures, and integrations • Improve performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency across Snowflake workloads • Automate support activities including monitoring, alerting, remediation, housekeeping, and operational procedures • Apply Snowflake security, access control, governance, and audit requirements • Support role-based access controls, least-privilege access, and segregation of duties • Maintain data protection controls such as masking and row-level access policies • Support security incident response, investigation, and recovery • Collaborate with client stakeholders, internal service teams, and delivery teams • Communicate incident status, investigations, service risks, and planned changes • Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, known error records, knowledge articles, and technical support notes • Document fixes, workarounds, recurring issues, and platform dependencies • Contribute to support standards, monitoring baselines, and operating procedures

🎯 Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience supporting Snowflake data platforms, including troubleshooting pipelines, transformations, integrations, and downstream data issues • Advanced SQL capability • Solid understanding of data engineering concepts, including ingestion, orchestration, data quality, performance tuning, and platform dependencies • Proven incident and problem management skills • Working knowledge of Snowflake security and governance, including access control, least-privilege principles, auditability, and controlled data access • Experience supporting releases and changes in a managed services or operational support environment • Strong monitoring and analytical skills • Clear stakeholder communication skills • Well-developed documentation and knowledge management habits • Continuous improvement mindset • Bachelor's Degree stated in the job metadata
