📋 Description

• Design UI/UX for AI-based experiences across EdTech web and mobile apps used by students and educators • Own work end to end, including problem framing, user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and clickable prototypes • Design user-facing AI/LLM features that reduce effort while keeping users in control, with review, edit, and undo built in • Apply vibe coding and modern AI design tools such as Claude Design, Lovable, and Figma to move from idea to working prototype quickly • Build and maintain reusable components, variants, and design tokens for product consistency at scale • Design accessible interfaces by default, aligned with WCAG 2.2 AA • Design mobile-first, responsive interfaces for phones and desktop • Produce engineering-ready handoffs with flows, states, validation rules, and component specifications • Collaborate with designers, engineers, product, and learning experts in fast iteration loops • Bring energy, ideas, and momentum to a small product team

🎯 Requirements

• Strong portfolio of shipped product design across web and mobile, with clear thinking behind the pixels • Strong skills in Figma and visual and interaction design, including hierarchy, spacing, typography, and states • Genuine product sense; ability to interrogate briefs, make assumptions explicit, and prioritize what matters • Interest in designing AI-enhanced, personalized user journeys while keeping people in control of AI • Fluency with modern AI design and prototyping tools, and willingness to keep experimenting as tooling evolves • Systems thinking with reusable components, variants, and design tokens • Accessibility-minded approach • Product-minded and comfortable moving without perfect instructions • Startup energy: ownership, speed, curiosity, and a no “that's not my job” attitude • Bonus: experience designing for EdTech, students, teachers, or classrooms • Bonus: experience building and maintaining a design system or component library • Bonus: ability to prototype in HTML/CSS, React, or tools like Lovable • Bonus: experience designing AI-powered product features, including failure states, guardrails, and human review
