📋 Description

• Plan and direct all marketing and sales activities for the company • Function as the main point of contact for external clients and potential partners • Design and implement sales and marketing plans focused on securing new and repeat business from biotech and pharmaceutical companies • Qualify targeted oncology and rare disease Sponsors, conduct introductory and follow up meetings, and secure RFPs • Work with Business Operations/Proposal Team to create proposals for new business • Strategically coordinate members of the Executive Team to leverage expertise to bring in new business • Represent the company at trade shows and client-sponsored events • Work closely with Corporate Marketing and Executive Team to design and implement marketing programs to support sales efforts • Develop and maintain relationships with partner organizations, including data management companies and other CROs • Update Salesforce or metrics tracking software to provide metric-driven reporting for company leadership • Provide regular feedback to Executive Team on pricing, competitiveness, and market conditions • Maintain close contact with key Sponsor personnel to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded

🎯 Requirements

• 4-year college degree, or equivalent experience ideally in a business, scientific or healthcare discipline • 12 years or more in the CRO/pharmaceutical industry • Ability to drive • Availability for domestic and international travel including overnight stays • Preferably 12 years or more in the CRO/pharmaceutical industry with corporate management and sales experience • Ability to update Salesforce or other metrics tracking software • Practical knowledge of IT tools and systems in use in the company and on the project teams • Experience qualifying oncology and rare disease Sponsors and securing RFPs • Experience creating proposals with Business Operations/Proposal teams • Experience representing company at trade shows and client-sponsored events
