📋 Description

• Ship features across Reconciliation and Global Accounts, with support from more senior engineers on scoping and architecture • Build and improve reports and dashboards merchants use to match and explain payments across PSPs • Contribute to Global Accounts and FX infrastructure for holding and moving funds across currencies and markets • Work on the Costs Overview Dashboard to help merchants understand charges and their causes • Deploy features to production and monitor their impact • Handle real financial data with PCI, GDPR, and correctness as daily considerations • Collaborate with a mission-driven engineering team to build infrastructure for global payments

🎯 Requirements

• Experience shipping production backend or full-stack features with growing autonomy • Previous experience coding in Python in a modern technical environment • Solid grasp of API design fundamentals • Attention to performance as usage grows • Comfortable writing tests and considering edge cases and error handling • Genuine care for precision and correctness • Nice to have, not required: exposure to payments, reconciliation, treasury, or FX • Nice to have, not required: experience with data reconciliation, matching, or ETL-style systems
