📋 Description

• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute targeted account penetration strategies • Design and champion complex People-Centric Security solutions across the Proofpoint portfolio • Develop and deliver compelling customer presentations and product demonstrations • Support proofs-of-concept and threat assessments • Assist occasionally with professional services deployments and technical training • Present at or attend industry seminars and trade shows • Provide customer insights to Product Management, Marketing, and Product Development teams • Support and enable distributors and resellers with the Channel team • Develop expertise in Email Security, Advanced Persistent Threats, Attack Protection, Threat Response, Data Loss Prevention, and the threat landscape • Travel occasionally

🎯 Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience as a Sales/Systems Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Security Engineer, or senior level product support, preferably in cybersecurity • Experience in secure messaging, data security, network security, endpoint, NOC/SOC, or MSP-related cybersecurity desirable • Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills • Fluent Italian required • Business-level English required • Exposure to at least two recommended skill sets: enterprise email solutions or SMTP; IT security areas such as vulnerability and risk management, security operations or incident response; DLP, compliance and data privacy; cloud security and shadow IT monitoring; cloud computing infrastructure such as AWS/Azure • Hands-on experience with directory services and protocols such as Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP, or identity providers is nice to have • Experience with email authentication protocols SPF, DKIM, and DMARC is nice to have • Experience with networking and protocols such as DNS, LDAP, and HTTP is nice to have • Experience with security standards and frameworks such as ISO, MITRE, and/or NIST is nice to have • CISSP, CCSP, or another industry certification is beneficial
