📋 Description

• Design and architect end-to-end storage and backup infrastructure solutions based on customer requirements • Manage the full lifecycle of storage and backup infrastructure, including gathering, design, implementation, Day 2 support, and decommissioning • Monitor, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis for backup operations and restore issues • Support and manage various NetBackup storage products • Implement multiprotocol environments including FC, iSCSI, NFS, and CIFS in NetApp NAS environments • Migrate data for Solaris, AIX, Linux, and Windows hosts • Work with systems administrators to troubleshoot storage problems and performance issues • Perform storage allocations, LUN masking, and data migrations • Monitor storage performance and set up alerts and notifications • Develop, update, and implement CLI scripts for NetBackup • Configure and administer fiber switches • Participate in storage array changes, including firmware upgrades and storage virtualization • Perform technology watch and contribute to service strategy and future architecture evolution • Define requirements and specifications with internal groups in an Agile setting using Epics and User Stories

🎯 Requirements

• 7 years of expertise in the design and architecture of storage and backup systems based on customer requirements • 7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise-level data storage technologies including ONTAP, Hitachi, StorageGRID, and SAN BROCADE, focusing on FC networking • 7 years of experience in backup and recovery solutions using NetBackup and Commvault • 7 years of experience managing technical operations and administration in IT data storage and backup • 7 years of experience deploying and maintaining multiprotocol environments such as FC, iSCSI, NFS, and CIFS, particularly within NetApp NAS systems • 5 years of general networking experience • Working knowledge of VMware, OpenStack, and Kubernetes (K8s) • Familiarity with Python scripting and database systems such as MS SQL and Oracle DB • Experience using Jira for issue tracking and project management in agile environments • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field • Willingness to work mid shift (4PM to 1AM) or night shift (8PM to 5AM) • Training period requires a night shift schedule (8PM to 5AM) for 6 months
