📋 Description

• Administer and maintain Red Hat server environments, including patching, updates, upgrades, and performance tuning • Provide after-hours on-call support and respond to system incidents and alerts • Implement and manage infrastructure changes with documentation, testing, and controlled execution • Perform server security hardening, vulnerability assessments, and security incident response • Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability • Collaborate with network, database, application, and other IT teams on integration and troubleshooting • Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing • Automate system administration using Python, Ansible, Bash, and related technologies • Create and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides • Maintain knowledge of Linux administration, security, and operations technologies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Linux Server Administration, with a strong focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments • At least 5 years of experience with VMware vSphere, VMware vCenter, and Red Hat OpenStack, including deployment, administration, performance tuning, and operational support • Proven experience using Python, Ansible, and Bash for scripting and automation • Experience applying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management practices • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, and network troubleshooting • Experience administering modern and legacy Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Linux server platforms • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex server, virtualization, and network issues • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Experience working in 24/7 enterprise production environments • Must be amenable to assigned morning, mid, or night shifts • Preferred: Relevant Red Hat certifications, including RHCSA, RHCE, or Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform certifications • Additional certifications in VMware virtualization technologies or ITIL are advantageous
