β’ Meet and/or exceed sales target through development and execution of business plan β’ Identify leads and close new sales opportunities for assay development and clinical trial programs with BioPharma and major research centers β’ Manage sales funnel to meet commercial targets β’ Coordinate capabilities presentations and proposals to create and progress new opportunities and partnerships β’ Manage proposal response process including client requirements, price negotiation, contracting, RFP responses and vendor onboarding β’ Manage engagements with clients to provide coordinated commercial communication and action plans β’ Coordinate roadmaps and strategic plans with key clients to meet commercial targets and client needs β’ Maintain accurate revenue forecasts and work closely with the services team to manage client programs according to plan β’ Communicate the progress toward sales goals to commercial leadership β’ Provide market feedback to the commercial leadership regarding competitive offerings and market trends β’ Requires approximately 20% overnight travel
β’ B.S., Biological Sciences required. M.S. or PhD advantageous. β’ Strong commercial background with 2 to 5 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical or life science tools industries β’ Proven track record in sales and strategic alliances with BioPharma β’ Experience in contract research sales and clinical trial programs preferred β’ Strong analytical, evaluation, negotiation and problem-solving skills β’ Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills β’ Proven ability to engage in multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to be flexible and adjust to rapidly changing priorities, and to deliver results to meet strategic priorities β’ A team player who values open communication and client focus.
