• Seek in-licensing, distributorship, and other commercialization partnerships • Conduct due diligence on potential in-licensing candidates • Build and maintain strong relationships with global partners • Lead negotiation and finalization of in-licensing agreements • Collaborate with pre-commercialization teams to assess feasibility • Monitor industry trends to identify and prioritize in-licensing prospects • Create tailored commercialization solutions for new manufacturers • Lead cross-functional delivery of RFP recommendations and pricing models • Partner with Regulatory Affairs to identify regulatory-focused business opportunities • Consult with clients to develop regulatory strategies • Maintain a comprehensive client relationship database • Ensure seamless transfer of client expectations to operational teams
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry • Proven track record of success in business development and the in-licensing of pharmaceutical products • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or client-facing roles within the healthcare service industry • Understanding of the Canadian Regulatory landscape and processes in bringing a pharmaceutical to market • University degree in Science, Business, Management, or related discipline (advanced degree preferred) • Demonstrated experience in commercialization and regulatory business development • Negotiation and key account management expertise • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills • Project and time management expertise • Proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Bilingualism is an asset
