📋 Description

• Lead and manage the full release cycle of the Salesforce environment for the COE, ensuring governance, quality, security, and traceability of all changes implemented across Salesforce environments, applying DevOps and ITIL best practices to ensure operational continuity and minimize delivery risks. • Plan, coordinate, and execute Salesforce releases following structured DevOps and ITIL processes. • Manage DevOps tools (Copado, Flosum, or similar) for deployment automation and CI/CD. • Establish and maintain change management and release management processes aligned with best practices. • Ensure governance and traceability of all changes through version control (Git). • Manage Salesforce environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Staging, Production) and sandbox strategy. • Coordinate deployment activities between development, QA, and business teams. • Implement and maintain CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) processes. • Perform impact analysis and manage dependencies between releases. • Conduct CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings for change approvals. • Create and maintain technical documentation of processes, runbooks, and rollback procedures. • Monitor release quality metrics (deployment success rate, lead time, MTTR). • Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for Salesforce metadata. • Ensure compliance with security and audit policies. • Train and mentor technical teams on release management best practices. • Manage merge conflicts and resolve technical dependencies.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience with Salesforce (Sales Cloud and Service Cloud). • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Release Management or Salesforce DevOps. • Proven experience implementing and managing a Salesforce COE. • Strong experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (Copado, Flosum, Gearset, or similar). • Proficiency with ITIL v3/v4 frameworks (especially Change, Release, and Configuration Management). • Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab and branching strategies (Git Flow, trunk-based). • Advanced knowledge of the Salesforce Metadata API and deployment strategies. • Experience with multi-org environments and sandbox strategies. • Experience in incident management and rollback procedures. • Experience with test automation and quality gates. • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices applied to Salesforce releases. • REQUIRED TOOLS: Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud (configuration and administration); Copado or Flosum (expertise in at least one of these); Git/GitHub/GitLab (version control); Salesforce Metadata API and CLI; CI/CD tools for Salesforce; Jira or Azure DevOps (change and release management); Microsoft Office / Google Workspace (documentation). • REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: Salesforce Certified Administrator (mandatory); Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder (mandatory); ITIL Foundation v3 or v4 (desirable).
