📋 Description

• Co-manage the company with the commercial co-founder and align technical strategy with business goals • Architect and build the MVP of robotics automation solutions integrating Physical AI intelligence with physical hardware • Leverage Physical AI models to drive process automation and optimize operational efficiency in hardware-driven environments • Define the technology stack, software/hardware architecture, and product scalability roadmap • Monitor robotics, AI, and automation trends • Recruit, lead, and mentor a small robotics engineering team • Translate customer feedback and market needs into technical requirements • Establish a culture focused on code quality, ownership, rapid iteration, and high execution standards • Establish hardware-software co-development workflows, robotics CI/CD pipelines, simulation-to-real testing frameworks, and safety and data compliance standards • Design, source, adapt, and prototype hardware for physical AI automation • Integrate intelligent software with hardware in collaboration with the Lead Physical AI/Machine Learning Engineer • Bridge robotics engineering and commercial viability while shaping hardware and engineering strategy

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5+ years of leadership experience in automation projects or robotics companies • At least 5+ years of hands-on robotics engineering expertise • Experience designing, prototyping, sourcing, and adapting hardware • Knowledge of mechatronics, kinematics, sensor integration, embedded systems, and control systems • Strong background in hardware and robotics engineering • Proven experience building scalable physical automation solutions and deep-tech architecture from scratch • Entrepreneurial mindset and pragmatic execution in an early-stage setup • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities • Fluent Polish and English, spoken and written • Deep understanding of Physical AI / Embodied AI hardware requirements and digital-to-physical execution challenges is nice to have • Experience across the AI/ML development pipeline is nice to have • Background in deep-tech, AI, or engineering-driven startups is nice to have • Experience with fundraising processes and explaining technical concepts to non-technical investors is nice to have • Legal permission to work in the EU
