📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the IT function • Audit existing tools, accounts, licenses, and configurations; document gaps • Build an IT roadmap and 90-day priority plan • Create and maintain IT policies, acceptable-use guidelines, and a self-service knowledge base • Fully own and secure the Google Workspace environment • Enforce MFA, security defaults, password management, and data-sharing controls • Manage user accounts, licenses, access provisioning, and deprovisioning across platforms • Maintain an inventory of users, roles, access levels, and licenses • Audit SaaS subscriptions and eliminate unnecessary or duplicate tools • Manage vendor relationships, renewals, and negotiations • Track license utilization • Select, implement, and manage an IT ticketing/service desk platform • Build self-service resources to reduce repetitive support requests • Conduct periodic access reviews and identify security gaps • Recruit, onboard, and manage IT Support Specialists as the organization grows • Build a scalable IT support function for a growing global team • Support marketing with domain, subdomain, and web development needs • Diagnose the digital ecosystem and propose immediate and mid-term solutions within the first 90 days

🎯 Requirements

• 4–6 years of IT experience, including at least 2 years in a hands-on senior sysadmin or IT management role • Google Workspace Admin experience managing for 100+ users • Experience with an IT service desk platform such as Freshdesk, Zendesk, Jira Service Management, or similar • Experience managing a SaaS tool portfolio across multiple platforms • Working knowledge of SSO, SAML, MFA enforcement, and role-based access control • Excellent written and verbal English • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fully remote, async-first environment • Strong customer service instincts and ability to support non-technical audiences • Preferred: experience as a company's first IT hire or building IT from scratch • Preferred: Slack administration and integrations • Preferred: background in legal, professional services, or staffing environments • Preferred: experience supporting globally distributed teams across multiple time zones • Preferred: basic automation skills with Zapier, Make, or similar
