📋 Description

• Provide escalated support for on-premises and cloud-based storage infrastructure and supporting systems • Address complex technical issues with Systems, Network, and Application Engineers • Provide secondary support for compute platforms • Provision block, file, and object storage volumes in on-premises and public cloud infrastructure • Configure deployed on-premises storage hardware according to infrastructure team designs • Improve storage security, reliability, and performance through updates, vulnerability remediation, and uptime management • Perform upgrades and maintenance during scheduled maintenance windows under change management procedures • Manage dedicated iSCSI storage networks and perform compatibility analysis for planned upgrades • Participate in and execute service improvement and storage technology implementation projects • Resolve escalated tickets, maintain ticket status updates, follow hand-off procedures, and escalate when required • Monitor and manage HPE Qumulo with InfoSight, HPE Alletra, AWS, and other storage platforms, including configuration, installation, and patching • Develop and execute PowerShell or bash scripts for storage management and reporting • Create and maintain FAQs, knowledge base articles, troubleshooting guides, and SOPs • Mentor junior staff and provide training • Adapt to changing duties and technologies • Respond to critical alerts during working hours and after hours according to the on-call rotation • Report to the Operations Manager as a member of the Operations team

🎯 Requirements

• HPE storage certifications, AWS certification, or equivalent experience • Bachelor's degree in IT, or equivalent experience in a related field • Minimum of 5 years in IT or eDiscovery • Strong working knowledge of on-premises storage arrays and block, file, and object storage systems, especially HPE storage solutions and AWS storage services • Strong working knowledge of iSCSI with Jumbo frames, SMB/NFS, and S3 • Strong working knowledge of Windows Server editions and Linux distributions • Strong working knowledge of PowerShell and/or bash scripting • Working knowledge of server and desktop virtualization, including Microsoft Hyper-V • Working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policies • Working knowledge of networking configurations, firewall policies, and rules • Practical understanding of IT concepts, protocols, industry best practices, and ITIL processes • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Ability to work under minimal supervision and independently • Ability to collaborate across multiple time zones and geographies • Ability to work evenings or weekends occasionally for scheduled or emergency maintenance • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Preferred: ITIL v3 or v4 Foundations certification • Preferred: AWS Associate certification • Preferred: proficiency with virtualization, operating system, and network troubleshooting • Preferred: proficiency in Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar scripting and DevOps tools
