📋 Description

• Design and develop robust full-stack applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Firebase/Google Cloud services. • Own end-to-end feature delivery from architecture and design through production deployment. • Build and maintain FHIR-compliant integrations with Google Cloud Healthcare API, including resource operations, data synchronization pipelines, and streaming exports to BigQuery. • Implement secure role-based access control across Next.js middleware, Firebase Security Rules, and Firebase Functions. • Develop and maintain Firebase Functions for serverless backend logic, Firestore triggers, Pub/Sub subscribers, and scheduled jobs. • Ensure data integrity across Firestore and FHIR datastores, including BigQuery analytics and reporting pipelines. • Integrate and maintain AI/ML workflows using Google Genkit and Gemini AI while protecting PHI. • Monitor application health with GCP Cloud Logging, Error Reporting, and Cloud Trace; investigate and resolve production issues. • Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering standards, patterns, and best practices. • Write and maintain automated and Playwright E2E tests across multiple user roles. • Collaborate with Product, QA, and Operations teams. • Contribute to CI/CD processes. • Ensure development adheres to HIPAA and healthcare data security standards; maintain technical documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• Immediate Joiners - Apply • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). • 7-9 years of hands-on experience in software development with a strong focus on full-stack web technologies. • Deep proficiency in Next.js, React and TypeScript, including App Router patterns and Server Components. • Strong experience with Firebase Authentication, NextAuth.js and custom claims-based RBAC across Next.js middleware, Firebase Security Rules, and Cloud Functions. • Hands-on experience with Firebase Firestore, including NoSQL data modelling, Security Rules authoring, and consistency patterns. • Good experience with Google Cloud Healthcare API for FHIR R4 compliant data exchange, resource CRUD operations, search, and batch/streaming export to BigQuery. • Practical experience with BigQuery for healthcare analytics, FHIR-structured schemas, and analytical SQL. • Hands-on experience with Firebase Functions across HTTP, Firestore, Auth, Pub/Sub, and Scheduled triggers. • Experience with ShadCN UI, Radix UI primitives, Tailwind CSS, React Hook Form, and Zod validation. • Experience building event-driven architectures using GCP Pub/Sub, including FHIR change notification pipelines and async processing. • Experience integrating Google Genkit and Gemini AI into production applications, with responsible AI use and PHI handling. • Proficiency with GCP observability tools: Cloud Logging, Error Reporting, and Cloud Trace. • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines; experience with Firebase App Hosting or similar deployment platforms. • Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements and HIPAA-compliant software design, including PHI handling, audit logging, and data security best practices. • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently on complex systems, and strong written and verbal technical communication.
