📋 Description

• Provide remote-based support for mission-critical SAP applications as part of a global customer support team • Research, troubleshoot, and support multiple client architectures and implementations using SAP Technology • Diagnose serious issues in SAP Technology environments and develop, test, package, and deliver fixes • Solve complex customer issues using methodical troubleshooting • Work closely with customers daily to understand needs, support business change, and deliver a high-quality customer experience • Provide remote-based functional support and training for specialist SAP modules • Support client customizations and share implementation and best-practice advice • Develop application break fixes for critical product defects • Create scripts to identify, analyze, and correct data issues • Manage assigned accounts as a technical/functional advisor • Provide hands-on assistance using proprietary tools in test environments or via remote client connectivity • Contribute proactively to a 24x7x365 support organization • Collaborate with team members in a virtual team environment • Contribute to knowledge-sharing methodologies, diagnostic tools, and creative processes to improve client experience

🎯 Requirements

• 2–3 years of SAP experience, particularly with Basis, SAP R/3, ECC, SAP NetWeaver, and SAP Knowledge Management • Full life-cycle implementation, configuration, and administration experience • 2+ years of direct support of application end-users in a corporate environment • Working knowledge of multiple databases, including Oracle, MSQSL, and MaxDB • Working knowledge of multiple operating systems, including AIX, Linux, and Windows • Experience in at least one SAP implementation or upgrade project • Knowledge of maintenance and patching mechanics and SAP architecture • Knowledge of SAP transport tools, including CTS+ • Knowledge of BW Source System setup and BEx Web in NW20004s • Knowledge of localization architecture, implementation, and key functionality • Experience installing, configuring, and administering NWDI and NWDS • Experience administering SAP J2EE Web Application Server • Excellent knowledge of J2EE Visual Administration, Configtool, SDM, System Analyzer, and other J2EE engine configuration tools • Knowledge of Portal User Management Engine configuration with SAP R/3 and LDAPs • Knowledge of Single Sign-On configuration between Portal and SAP systems • Knowledge of SSL enablement for Enterprise Portal and Knowledge Management & Collaboration • Knowledge of cluster installations for load balancing • Experience installing and configuring Apache as a Reverse Proxy • Knowledge of portal backup/recovery schemes • SAP troubleshooting, customization/extension, and development skills • SAP application functionality, tables, and relationships knowledge • Interpersonal, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work remotely from a home-based office in a virtual environment • Analytical and logical problem-resolution skills • SAP certification(s) preferred • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field • Fluency in both English and Portuguese required
