📋 Description

• Diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex architectural, performance, and data integrity issues • Analyze and optimize complex SQL queries, database projections, and system configurations • Own critical, high-severity customer escalations from inception to resolution • Perform deep-dive post-mortem analyses on catastrophic failures • Champion the creation of technical documentation and best-practice guides • Mentor and coach Tier 1 and Tier 2 support engineers • Collaborate with R&D and Product Management on edge-case bugs and feature enhancements

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in a dedicated Enterprise Technical Support or DBA role • Strong hands-on experience managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Vertica clusters at scale • Expert-level knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems • Exceptional proficiency in advanced SQL • Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Perl) • Experience troubleshooting Vertica in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) • Solid understanding of enterprise networking concepts and database security protocols
