📋 Description

• Lead subcontract planning, proposal review, supplier evaluations, and overall subcontract strategy development • Provide business guidance to internal teams by offering market insight and supply chain support • Lead supplier negotiations and partner with the Supply Chain Contract Manager to prepare and negotiate contractual documents • Manage proposal preparation and oversee the execution and performance of complex subcontracts • Monitor subcontract performance, manage Cost Account Manager duties, and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders and senior leadership • Oversee subcontract products and services, including obsolete parts, production needs, on-time delivery, and future product or service roadmaps • Conduct supplier visits and maintain strong working relationships with supplier leadership and L4 program management • Represent the company on matters involving legal requirements, customer specifications, and government regulations • Provide direction for subcontract activities and oversee work performed by Subcontract Administrators, Buyers, and Supply Chain Contract Managers • Lead internal department cadence reviews and internal customer cadence reviews • Manage program cost, schedule, and risk and support the execution of programs with significant subcontract content and total values above fifty million dollars • Develop and execute subcontract plans, identify qualified suppliers, prepare the Supplier Statement of Work, and develop new supply sources as needed • Support programs with moderate to high risk and complexity while working independently and applying sound judgment in subcontract and compliance activities

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience. • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance • Demonstrated experience managing subcontracts projects using Earned Value Management System (EVMS) methodology and Cost Account Management (CAM) activities • Prior experience applying acquisition policies and procedures, including the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA), within a government contracting environment • Prior experience working with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
