📋 Description

• Monitor and represent proceedings before the Public Prosecutor's Office in the Environmental and Housing & Urbanism areas, in accordance with the strategies and objectives of the Legal Department. • Draft defenses against environmental fines and follow up on the corresponding administrative proceedings. • Seek information and support from the company's internal areas (Technical and/or Operational Units), including leading strategy and alignment meetings. • Obtain necessary documents from the Public Prosecutor's Office and other relevant agencies to support the proceedings for which you are responsible. • Update the legal management system with information on the cases you are handling. • Provide opinions on higher-complexity cases, as defined by Management's guidelines. • Prepare legal opinions, papers, bullets, and other documents on specific cases selected by Management. • Stay up to date with the Legal Department's directives and goals, legislation, and case law, especially in environmental law. • Perform other activities compatible with the role as expressly determined by Management. • Monitor procedural progress in internal systems and the Public Prosecutor's Office. • Conduct legal research and interpret statutes, laws, and case law. • Assist in managing deadlines and schedules. • Serve internal or external clients, providing legal clarifications and guidance. • Assist in legal negotiations under the supervision of more experienced professionals. • Maintain control and organization of legal documents and files. • Ensure compliance with current legislation and mitigate legal risks. • Interact with external law firms when necessary.

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in Law and registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB). • 3 years of legal experience, particularly in representing proceedings before the Public Prosecutor's Office and defending administrative fines. • Experience in Environmental Law. • Basic proficiency in Excel. • Basic proficiency in PowerPoint. • Basic proficiency in Power BI. • Experience preparing legal opinions. • Valid Category B driver's license (CNH).
