📋 Description

• Serve as a member of the People Ops team supporting employees across all employment lifecycles as well as actioning requests via Workday and Zendesk. • Support the company’s HR Compliance requirements by managing statutory reporting such as EEO-1, CA PDR, and Affirmative Action Plans (AAPs) filings. • Contribute to the department’s knowledge management initiatives by reviewing, assessing, and creating missing employee-facing knowledge through internal AI and productivity tools. • Participate in UATs supporting projects and enhancements by creating, testing, and auditing scenarios. • Support HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) in performing mass and complex data changes via Workday EIBs. • Support cross-functional process improvements across the People team by suggesting, planning, and executing enhancements. • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as we scale globally and across new offices.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years experience within an HR/People team for a fast-growing, global company. • 2+ years supporting HR/Workforce Compliance actions. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. • Basic knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and audit requirements. • Operational knowledge of Workday HRIS. • Strong attention to detail, customer service presence, and organizational skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
