📋 Description

• Help modernize essential industries through IoT solutions, improving safety, efficiency, and sustainability in logistics, construction, field services, transportation, manufacturing • Develop and demonstrate expertise in IoT hardware/sensors, hands-on installation strategies, carrier network data collection, cloud infrastructure, and third-party integrations via open API • Engage with customers on logistics management, workplace safety programs, fleet maintenance strategies, global asset management, and regulatory compliance • Deliver discoveries, demonstrations, value assessments, proof-of-concept implementations, and other deal-closing work products • Guide installers through scenarios and deployment plans, explaining installation best practices • Write and document scripts against Samsara’s open API to solve real-world problems • Act as a liaison between product and sales teams, translate technical feedback, and enroll customers in beta programs • Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as the team scales globally

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelors’ of Science degree from a 4 year accredited university • 2+ years experience working with customers in a pre-sales, customer success, or customer/product support capacity • Ability to influence stakeholders based on your technical sales acumen and a solid understanding of business processes and change management • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences • Previous experience managing hardware and/or software product evaluations • Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems • Experience with technical consulting, cloud software, cloud-connected hardware, computer networking, business systems integration, automation and control systems • Must be located within and authorized to work in the United States • (Preferred) Experience with Bash, Python, JavaScript, building solutions leveraging open APIs, understanding of vehicle diagnostic systems, and hobbyist electronics interests
