📋 Description

• Provide regional finance leadership and business partnership across EMEA • Own regional financial reporting, planning, compliance, and controls • Partner with the CFO, regional business leaders, global finance teams, and shared-service teams • Provide financial insight, challenge, and recommendations for business decisions and opportunities • Lead financial support for regional growth initiatives, business planning, and key projects • Promote financial accountability and commercial awareness • Own EMEA budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning • Analyze regional financial performance, trends, risks, and opportunities • Ensure timely, accurate, and useful financial information for regional leaders • Review regional financial statements and reporting outputs • Oversee statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance matters • Identify, manage, and escalate regional compliance and entity-related matters • Maintain knowledge of relevant local requirements across EMEA • Maintain regional financial governance, internal controls, and risk management • Act as senior regional finance partner and escalation point for operational matters • Ensure practical, efficient, and scalable regional finance processes • Lead continuous improvement and business process transformation initiatives • Support migration from Microsoft Dynamics SL to an updated ERP platform • Lead and develop the regional finance team • Build collaboration and accountability across regional finance, global finance, and business partners • Manage stakeholder relationships and serve as principal regional finance interface • Balance regional and global requirements while reporting directly to the CFO and on a dotted line to the Managing Director, EMEA • Communicate financial information, business updates, and recommendations to senior stakeholders • Carry out other duties reasonably required by the business

🎯 Requirements

• Graduate and professionally qualified management accountant (CIMA or Dutch equivalent) • Proven experience overseeing finance operations across multiple EMEA legal entities and jurisdictions, including financial governance, payroll compliance, supplier management, financial reporting, and local statutory and regulatory requirements • Significant proven experience reviewing financial performance, management reporting, and key business metrics • Demonstrated ability to provide financial analysis, challenge, and assurance to senior stakeholders • Experience supporting establishment and ongoing management of legal entities across Europe, including financial, tax, payroll, and regulatory requirements • Experience working within a global finance environment across multiple regions and legal entities • Experience operating within a global, matrixed organisation • Strong understanding of VAT compliance and financial control processes • Strong understanding of international tax requirements, including corporation tax, VAT, and transfer pricing • Strong understanding of financial systems, reporting tools, and financial reporting processes • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills • Experience leading, managing, and developing finance professionals • Experience building and leading high-performing teams • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills • Collaborative leadership style across functions, countries, and regions • Exceptional organisational and planning skills • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a commercial mindset • Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented approach • Experience handling confidential and sensitive financial information • Strong understanding of international payroll processes and compliance • Understanding of multi-currency reporting and cash flow management • Alignment with SANS' mission and values • Willingness and ability to travel as required
