📋 Description

• Collaborate on the creation, analysis, review, and updating of credit policies, taking into account market best practices and applicable regulations • Develop statistical and mathematical models to calculate default risk using credit scoring, Machine Learning, and statistical analysis techniques • Support the development of models to quantify the profitability of credit decisions • Participate in credit-granting decisions, including recommendations regarding credit limits and payment terms • Monitor implemented policies from operational and performance perspectives, analyzing indicators for new vintages • Conduct periodic portfolio analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement • Collaborate with credit desk, collections, finance, and systems teams to ensure consistency across policies and processes • Prepare analytical reports and presentations for senior management and internal stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field • Experience with credit analysis and credit policies • Ability to work with large datasets • Knowledge of Python or R • Previous knowledge of credit analysis tools, statistical models, and credit management platforms • Familiarity with credit regulations and compliance • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Previous experience in financial institutions is a plus
