• Responsible for selling the company's products or services developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts. • Primary responsibility may include finding, generating and developing new distribution partners in order to sell the company's products to end-users • Creates awareness and demand for company products • Pursue sales leads • Lead in visits to existing and new customers • Analyze customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services • Respond to customer enquiries; and conclude sales orders to meet established revenue targets • Innovate / create sales skills and knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers • Perform supplier audits on site at distributor warehouse locations • Identify and implement efficiency opportunities such as distributor dashboards, etc. • Initiate regular communication with distributors to mitigate shipment errors and discrepancies
• A bachelor’s in engineering (preferably mechanical/electrical or electronic), or a business degree with significant experience in a technical environment. • Significant sales and marketing experience at a senior level in Business-to-Business key account management in an industrial environment. • Distribution sales and management experience will be a strong plus. • Experience of working with sensors and industrial automation products is preferable. • Exceptional commercial acumen paired with solid operational and technical backgrounds. • Ability to convert customer needs into compelling offerings. • Holds self and others accountable to achieving goals and standards. • Excellent communication (oral, written and presentation), analytical and negotiation skills. • Organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results. • Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
