📋 Description

• Work in an agile team to develop requirements for web applications, writing code and unit tests according to programming best practices and design patterns • Participate in the creation of technical solutions, collaborating with Product and Quality teams • Develop, maintain and evolve features of Shift products using approved tools and following coding, architecture, quality and business rules standards • Analyze functional and non-functional requirements and propose technically appropriate solutions • Design, document, implement and evolve REST APIs according to architecture, security, versioning and documentation standards • Produce software engineering artifacts, including ERDs, class diagrams, UML and other models • Estimate technical effort and support delivery planning with the Agilist and the team • Keep technical documentation up to date • Develop and execute unit, integration and component tests • Propose functional and technical improvements for the evolution of Shift products • Develop solutions following Security by Design principles and security, privacy and secure development requirements • Use Generative AI tools in development, analysis, documentation and software engineering, respecting security and governance guidelines • Interact with Product, Architecture, Quality, Agile and other areas to clarify requirements, align solutions and ensure value deliveries • Communicate impediments, technical risks and dependencies • Participate in code reviews and provide technical feedback • Identify root causes of technical problems and propose corrective and preventive actions • Support the Agilist in driving deliveries • Contribute to the evolution of the knowledge base, standards, checklists, documentation and best practices • Work collaboratively to promote continuous learning, innovation and improvement of Shift products and processes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field • Experience in developing and maintaining web applications • Front-end experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript and Angular 16+ • Back-end experience with Java, REST APIs and SQL • Knowledge of relational database modeling • Knowledge of UML modeling and the ability to read technical diagrams • Experience with source control using Git • Knowledge of object-oriented programming, best practices, Clean Code and API design • Experience with unit testing and continuous integration (CI/CD) • Experience with Generative AI tools, such as GitHub Copilot, for coding, testing, documentation, refactoring and productivity • Nice-to-have: Quarkus, Docker and Docker Compose • Focus, results and quality orientation, customer focus, planning and organization skills, and ability to work in a team • This vacancy is also open to people with disabilities (PwD)
