📋 Description

• Lead the creation, preparation, cost estimation and editing of technical and commercial proposals for new equipment, upgrades and services • Supervise up to 3 Sales and Proposals Engineers • Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies for the Americas region • Identify new projects and business opportunities • Deliver technical presentations to customers • Conduct commercial visits • Coordinate communication with key suppliers • Coordinate direct service contracts in the region • Act as the primary technical support contact for customers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or Mechatronics • Fluent English • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in Industrial Automation • Mandatory experience in profile/rail rolling and/or bar and wire mills (Section/Rail Mills and/or Bar and Wire mills) • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Self-motivated, creative and strong problem-solving abilities • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) • Availability to travel 25% to 40% for customer and supplier visits and meetings across the Americas, including the USA • Direct role supporting the Electrical and Automation team for Long Products at SMS United States
